A few days ago a KICK-ASS TKC TIPSTER sent us a vital link with important local info contained within . . .
We had a discussion, debate and some discourse on the topic:
Apparently, KCK schools can be pretty horrible and we had a lot of confirmation of this survey.
However, after a bit of lobbying (i.e. threats) from KCK education officials the web site changed up their initial findings.
The aftermath . . .
"After two recent reports that Kansas City Kansas schools are failing their students, the district said its critics are not properly analyzing the numbers."
And then . . .
"One day after a website listed four Kansas City, Kan. high schools among the worst in the nation, Inc.com has agreed to remove Schlagle, Washington, Harmon, and Wyandotte High from its list."
Now, was this a remarkable turnaround or a real miscalculation of results . . . NOPE . . .
INSTEAD KCK EDUCATION CREEPS THREATENED A WEBSITE INTO CHANGING THE RANKINGS OF MEDIOCRE SCHOOLS THAT WERE CALLED OUT FIRST IN THE METRO BY THE TKC BLOG COMMUNITY!!!
Even better . . .
BLOGGY TESTIMONY AND COMMENTS CONFIRM THAT, IN FACT, THAT A COUPLE OF THESE KCK SCHOOLS KINDA SUCK!!!
A couple of Kansas D-bags have already tried to strong arm this blog and have begged a retraction . . . It ain't gonna happen. Bloggy testimony about these KCK urban core schools speaks for itself, we value an open forum for opinions (no matter how stupid) and here @ TKC we let FREE SPEECH STAND!!!

There are several examples of bullying here, & one example of mental illness.

This is why children bully (they are taught), but some children aren't strong enough to stand up to it. Eventually, teenage suicides will force us to not be so dogmatic.

DeleteI blame all of the city officials for these issues bar none! this is simply a sign of what happens when "friends" let "friends" ride their coat tails into public office, they get elected and then they bring friends with them, pretty soon these positions are filled with who you know not what you know and they fight tooth and nail to keep the positions because they know that if they lose them they can never get back to where they are today, being paid for doing nothing but showing up to work.
