The dangerous Saturday night was capped off by domestic gunfire that thankfully ended with a KCPD arrest and nobody hurt.

"On 1-19-2014 at 1:38 am officers were dispatched to the 3900 block of Indiana on a reported disturbance, male firing shots at a female. Upon arrival officers made contact with a female who stated there was a verbal altercation at the residence and a male began firing shots at her from the residence. The female was not injured and she advised the officers the male subject was still inside the residence. An operation 100 was called at 2:11 am.
The male subject eventually made telephone contact with officers and agreed to surrender. The male was taken into custody without incident just before 4 am."
