Friday is firing and bad news time in Kansas City.

RIGHT NOW WE HAVE NEWS THAT KANSAS CITY COUNCIL DUDE JERMAINE REED GOT INVOLVED IN A SPAT WITH HIS ASSISTANT AND FIRED HER ON THE SPOT AND IN A HUFF!!!
Here's the word from a trusted and BAD-ASS TKC TIPSTER . . .
"Jermaine just terminated his aide on the spot. Had security inform her and walk her out. She received a good performance evaluation and pay raise less than a month ago."
Now here's something to remember . . . Councilman Reed faces a great many challenges as his election grows closer . . . We've heard he has more than a bit of ethics trouble coming his way. And his office is perennially out of cash given the Council Dude's spending habits.
Another KICK-ASS CITY HALL INSIDER confirms this firing and reminds us that Councilman has gone through three assistants in less than 3 years.
In the past year he has been on 10+ trips out of town . . . Behind the scenes we know that Mayor Pro Tem "Silly" Cindy Circo is tired of him always asking for an advance on his Council Office budget.
But this is important because City Hall firings NEVER TURN OUT WELL and now Kansas City's youngest Council dude has pissed off the Chief of Police with racial profiling allegations along with encountering a great deal of antipathy in the 3rd District.

ReplyDelete11:35, Schulte has fired very few staff, and the ones that were fired were Waynettes who were incompetent. The manager also has a much larger staff so there will be more turnover.
ReplyDeleteReed has not been in office three years and has already gone through three aides. To have one ushered out by security is pretty severe. Given Reed's office budget problems, this doesn't look good.
I heard 6 public works staff were released last week, all hated by Schulte. so don't preach how Schulte is a saint, he is a worthless piece of shit.

Their director made the decision, not Schulte. No one said he's a saint that I saw, but don't heap blame where it doesn't belong.
