Surprisingly, we even did our homework on this one . . . We've got the documentation of his recent alleged license swipe.

It's worth noting that KJ's new EP is slated to earn a bit more publicity and hopefully the young rapper will be out of the can in order to enjoy the notoriety he has created.

1) Mayor James is the de facto leader of KCMO, but ironically has a highly dysfunctional family.
2) Recall that Mayor James has repeatedly chosen to honor, and publicly embrace, Aaron Yates (aka rapper Tech 9ne). This is an example of Mayor James' faulty reasoning and defective setting of standards for the public.
In his interview with KSHB's Christa Dubill, Mayor James said he believed he'd found the perfect job in being Mayor of KCMO. Is this because he gets to concentrate on the superficial and avoid the difficult work of being a great husband, father, and role model?
Mayor James, I await your resignation and announcement that you "wish to spend more time with your family."

Sly is like so many people in the political and business class that only have "Props."
You only have to look across the street from City Hall to see several more examples at the JaxCo. Sanders always has his staff cancel for events using the excuse that "his son has a basketball game," but if you see his kids they are ferel. The Sanders kids clearly get no love or affection from their parents who are always "doing something important for the careers."
That's where the "Kyle Jameses" come from.
And let's not forget future Councilwoman and current County Legislator Theresa Garza-Ruiz. TGR's daughter went wild from lack of attention in her early teens, so TGR had to hide her at Kansas City Academy. After Miriaha graduated she bolted for the west coast and pretty soon there after she started whoring through internet sites. That informantion made it back home and so TGR had to go out to get her and Miriaha's grandmother actually drove her to junior college everyday because she could not be trusted to go herself. In the mean time, Miriaha decides that she really likes to fuck but she really does not like to bother with birth control, so she gets preggers. The family grabs the likely father and force a marriage on the two irresponsible kids, which generally means the first step toward divorce. TGR was always busy doing "things" (like working to pass smoking bans in bars) so she never really taught her daughter anything -- Mariaha smoked all through her pregnancy.
These high powered people are users, and they produce damaged goods-- who spread STDs or drive drunk into school buses.
Yep, Ego-mad shitheels that can't even raise a solid family and have the power to bankrupt a city. It's a heck of a deal. The public are so easily bamboozled by a big grin and a lot of promises. Nothing new under the sun I reckon.

ReplyDeleteMy sister works for a mental health center in the KC area and she told me more than a year ago that school counselors had informed Mike Sanders that his youngest son showed signs of mental illness, and they required him to submit for tests very, very quietly. Problems that require istitutional treatment were found, but the Sanders rejected it because they believe it would harm Mike's political career. Which might have been true IN THE 1970s! So the child drifts further and further away from reality. Mom does nothing and certainly Dad does nothing. The child? Who cares?

ReplyDeleteIf Mayor James does not love his son enough to drop everything and get him into long-term treatment, he will have lost another son, for the second consecutive year.
KJ is slowly committing suicide. He has mental health issues which he repeatedly attempts to resolve through substance abuse. Self-medicating with alcohol, marijuana, painkillers, etc., is classic behavior for the chemically unbalanced. Everyone knows this! Would anyone be surprised to hear next week that KJ had been killed in a DUI accident, overdose, act of violence, etc.? The answer is NO!!!! We hear about such cases regularly.
Mayor James, if you love your son, you will move heaven and earth to save him before he kills himself. KCMO can do without you for the next 6-12 months while you take a leave of absence to help your child. Please heed my words, and I wish you success.

And what about his so-called best friend and rapping partner? Is he also a total jackass like KJ? Perhaps, he is attempting to profit off of his friend's notoriety and connection to the Mayor.
As a young Black male, and the son of the Mayor, KJ does more damage to the Black community's reputation and neutralizes some of the good work people like Ellington (see post below) are performing.
Let's just hope Sly gets KJ neutered before he starts leaving a trail of spawn around town.
