Thanks to the most AWESOME AND KICK-ASS TKC BLOG COMMUNITY MEMBERS we've been holding the city accountable for their promises of a new website to start the year.

And now . . .

CHECK OUT THE "SOFT LAUNCH" OF THE NEW CITY HALL WEBSITE!!!

As promised it looks like a Wordpress deal and pretty spiffy even if it's not fully operational just yet . . .

We're hoping that it'll be all the way live soon if only to make navigating City Hall that much easier and so we can keep up with Jermaine Reed and the Ethics Commission.

Also . . . We're very happy to ruin the City's big reveal . . .

NOW . . . WHAT DO YOU D-BAGS THINK OF THE NEW LOOK FOR THE CITY HALL WEBSITE?!?!

KC is like a business that sells a crummy, overpriced product and then instead of improving the product and selling it at a better price they increase the advertising budget.

Lots of 404s I see. They have a lot of work to do before this thing goes live.

Hate the new domain too.

Shouldn't that be ckmo.gov?

Doesn't the city know how easy it is to hack into wordpress?

This is going to be fun.

The rollout of the new website followed on TKC by the announcment of the sixth murder in the city since the first of the year.
"How may we serve you?"
A city that works.
Just not for you.

MUCH HARDER TO USE THAN THE OLD ONE.

Basic responsive design principals. Way better than what you're putting out there Tony.

I don't really like it. Seems like it wants to ask me for my credit card info. LOL!

Great, now I can complain about no funding for basic services because you spend all our tax money on crap like this. Geeze, will someone fire the city manager already.

Nice web site given the lack of a talent pool. I did notice that "PAY" seems to be one of the more predominant topics, which speaks volumes about this town and it's government.

"Soft launch"= we've been fucking off and don't have any real work product but will put something out there in response to the criticism to make it look like we've been working.

I think CK is going to come in third place behind Detroit and Stockton at this rate in the ongoing race to the bottom.
