SHOW-ME MISSOURI LOSING BOEING BID!!!

Take a look at Missouri politicos and their misplaced priorities resulting in an embarrassing passover from a big company . . .

WaPo: Boeing machinists OK contract tied to 777X

Wall Street Journal: The jetliner manufacturer's largest union approved an eight-year deal that ties production of the 777X to Washington state.

STL Post-Dispatch: The vote, announced just after midnight central time, likely ends the bid by Missouri and 21 other states to land the lucrative work for commercial aircraft and the 8,500 jobs it would bring.

Accordingly . . .

FACT CHECK: TURNS OUT THE MISSOURI BLACK CAUCUS WAS RIGHT TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE LOSING BID EFFORT!!!

Remember: Mo. Black Caucus says Boeing deal withheld housing money

And so . . .

COUNT THIS AS AN EMBARRASSING HUMILIATION FOR MISSOURI GOV. JAY AND HIS MANY GOP ALLIES WHO GLADLY SOUGHT TO CUT THE THROATS OF THE LESS FORTUNATE IN ORDER TO CHASE A PIPE DREAM THAT AMOUNTED TO NOTHING!!!

Meanwhile, Missouri continues to be mired in a culture war and silly legislation aimed at entertaining talk radio listening rubes while the statewide economy and population remain stagnant.

Developing . . . But not really . . .

Boeing was playing the rest of the country to get their workers to accept pay and pension cuts.

So now Jay and the rest of the govs can get their noses out of the Boeing executives' butts.
Where do we find such courageous leadership?

Thousands of Boeing employees, fearing loss of their jobs, voted to eat cat food in retirement. Another great day for Amerika.

If you're in your 20s, think real hard about getting the hell out of the USA and having a career in a non-fascist country. Most jobs in this country are no longer worth having.

Well the Republicos wanna turn this into a defeat for Dem Gov Jay Nixon... that's just an opportunity for a cheap jab. Republicans never miss those chances.

This was a corporate thing, Boeing's way of intimidating the union into thinking Boeing actually would board the place up and move elsewhere.

Next stop, China. And the Republicans will be just fine with that.
