  1. LOL the comments on KCTV page are funny.

But one does bring up a point about the red light cameras.

Technically, you can videotape someone without their knowledge, but you cannot do this while they are in the privacy of their home. If you distribute the recording, you need the subject's signature of approval. You should generally obtain permission beforehand.

The tricky question is, he was in his own home as well watch one hell of a plea deal come out of this.

  2. •When you are on private property, the property owner may set rules about the taking of photographs. This might be a case to watch since all lived there. Another important law note would be if he shared them or not. If he didn't might be an issue here. Remember people this was with people he lived with in same the same house.

  3. The homeowner can tape anybody in his /her home at any time for any reason ( see: nanny cams, burglar cams) however, HOW that recording can be used is very limited.

  5. It is currently legal in every state to make a video-only recording of anything happening at your home, at any time, without informing anyone. The fact that the camera is hidden has no effect on this concept. If your camera is video only (no sound is recorded), then you can do whatever you like with it, in your own home (but be careful about accidentally recording things beyond that, like the street in front of your yard).

Audio recordings are a different story. While some states have no special laws regarding these either, it is illegal to record someone's voice without their permission in California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, Oregon, Pennsylvania and Washington State. The merchant selling the camera will likely be familiar with your state's laws concerning this, so be sure to ask before you buy anything.

He will have nothing say about it. I mean he knows nothing about it.

    1. He can't use a camera because he is blind.
    2. He wouldn't know a naked woman because he has never seen one. He's blind remember.
    3. His wife I am sure isn't something you would want to see naked. Nor is Byron any one you would want to see naked. Besides if she caught him being a pervert she would kill him and feed him to the dogs.
    4. Byron does not know these people nor has he ever seen them. He's blind remember.
    5. So why would a jackass from WV need to comment on this story, he has nothing to add to the content.
