Jackson County Legislator Scott Burnett and Theresa Garza Ruiz will serve as chair and vice chair of the legislature this year . . . They're getting congratulations from homies throughout social media but nowhere in mainstream media.
Without any hateration . . . Burnett's win is kind of a big deal for Midtown Kansas City and maybe a higher profile for KCMO amid otherwise steady Eastern Jack domination of the Courthouse.

First Step? Ha! These folks sit on the legislature for YEARS. they see the screw ups but do nothing until the public becomes enraged. Damned bunch of losers. At least Burnett knows to keep his worthless self out of the way by holing up at the Court House. Garza will try to fuck up city hall from Circo's basement.
