    Then Sly should move down there himself and live. I say don't ask your people to do that which you're not willing to do yourself. Our company is located downtown but I myself wouldn't want to live down there and it appears all our employees feel the same.

    Developers will slap up these apartments, put a fake value on them say like $10,500,000.00 (or even higher) and with tax incentives pay $147 a year in property taxes.

    It's true, this is whats happening with these shady deals the politicians and developers cook up out of the view of the public eye.

    Well, if City of Kansas City wants to own every piece of real estate in Kansas City neighborhoods that comes with a price. Those stupid fuckheads think owning all of the real estate and giving it to developers who never really develop but instead use the development dollars for schemes to fund their extramarital affairs, buy expensive cars, and subsidize their children's college tuition, its no wonder why Kansas City looks the way it does. A city that works. Just not for you.
