Kansas City based and Belgian-owned Boulevard will drown Kansas City in Chocolate Ale at the start of February.
Remember that not so long ago the Boulevard faced an embarrassing public relations disaster when they were forced to recall more than a few batches of their celebrated hipster brew. Last year they skipped the local Valentine's season tradition and now seem to be counting the short memory of the public to push their product this time around.
So, choke down this question . . .
WILL KANSAS CITY FORGET THE NASTY AFTERTASTE OF A RECALL AND SWALLOW THE CURRENT CHOCOLATE ALE LOAD?!?!
The frou-frou designer brew really isn't my style when it's done right so I don't claim any expertise . . . Still, the Belgian expertise might help in this relaunch or maybe locals won't be as forgiving of an international conglomerate.
