TKC BREAKING NEWS!!! KANSAS CITY WESTPORT TIVOLI CINEMAS DECLARES VICTORY BY WAY OF DIGITAL BEGGING!!!
Today it has been OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED that Tivoli Cinemas in Westport met their Kickstarter fundraising goal and will live to show movies about gay cowboys eating pudding for another day.
The grand fundraising total of $136,393 was actually a bit more than they asked for ($130k) to convert the theaters to digital and possibly showcase more local crappy movies.

TIVOLI WESTPORT EARNS THE KANSAS CITY 2013 TECH VICTORY OF THE YEAR AND GARNERS THE BIGGEST CASH TOTAL BY WAY OF ONLINE

There's no shame in it and every Kansas City biz is entitled to fight for survival . . . Credit to this enthusiastic crew of supporters for creating the only cowtown arts movement for 2013 that was somewhat accessible to mainstream moviegoing plebs and didn't require tax subsidy.
