A light dusting this morning has made Kansas City's streets a mess and traffic has already backed up.
To wit . . .
MAYOR SLY DESERVES BLAME FOR CRAP KANSAS CITY STREETS AND SCREWED UP TRAFFIC BECAUSE HE HAS SPENT MOST OF HIS TIME ENTERTAINING THE LOCAL BIZ ELITE RATHER THAN WORKING TO "REFORM OR REPAIR" LOCAL INFRASTRUCTURE!!!
Admittedly, cocktail parties are pretty fun . . .
But c'mon . . .
Mayor Sly . . .
- Didn't coordinate with MoDOT to keep them from turning Downtown KCMO into their own personal sandbox.
- Hasn't done much to maintain local streets.
- Pretty much admits that it's not a big priority for his administration despite the fact that he has raised taxes for infrastructure TWICE.
For these reasons and so many more . . . We should blame Mayor Sly for the weather with only a bit of a reprieve because Kansas City has completely lost its driving skill in the past 10 years.
Don't be a hater.
ReplyDeleteI wish Tony would at least shovel his own goddam sidewalk!
ReplyDeleteLoft dweller.
ReplyDeleteReal cities don't plow until there's atleast a few inches on the ground... Heh... Tony Knows all about a few inches. Fish sticks.
ReplyDeleteYou fail at life for thinking about 'lil Tony.
ReplyDeleteYou can shoot the messenger but the message is still correct. The Mayor doesn't care about the those who elected him.
ReplyDeleteCities cannot dictate to modot what our when to do anything. They are a "higher" level of government and do whatever they want whenever they want. Go blame the Governor. The local streets in kc are fine. Mine was dry pavement. Quit being a crybaby
ReplyDeleteSayyyyy....lets ask that political municipal genius Glorioso what he would do.
ReplyDeleteHaven't heard much from Gloryhole since he got it packed cram full of a NO vote on the Hospital Con Tax.
We can all just stay at home when it snows and dream of the toy train.
ReplyDeleteSee? We told you we needed a street car.
ReplyDeleteI blame Sly for not firing Troy or the PW director
