SHOCK!!! PEAK OIL PRODUCTION COULD HAVE STARTED KANSAS EARTHQUAKE!!!

Insurance Journal reports local shakes under investigation: Kansas Earthquake, Oil Production Might Be Related . . . Fact and then a lot of assurances otherwise: "The Kansas Geological Society is investigating whether a recent earthquake in southern Kansas might have been caused by oil production practices in the area."

  1. I'm guessing the Koch brothers have already formed an "independent" group of scientists whose job is to debunk any talk of fracking earthquakes, the truth be damned.

  2. Can anybody down there light their water coming out of their kitchen faucet on fire like they can in Pennsylvania? Even if they do find oil exploration at fault Brownback will bury the evidence and the oil companies will be able to continue to do whatever they want and ignore any laws they want.

  4. I bet despite the awl bidness's cheer-leading for fracking, it won't last long. After Texas starts shaking like the Philippines with all of THEIR fracking wells.

    Maybe it'll just fall into the Gulf and then Ted Cruz or Rick Perry can be president of TEXAS....a whole other country!
