Search For Missing Kansas City Girl Continues

A Kansas City missing person case continues to go unsolved despite the involvment of state-run agencies . . .

Background: Mom seeks answers after daughter runs away from state facility

Today's plea from supporters of the family:

"Kansas City we have an emergency 14yr A'Kiera Burrell Sledge last seen in state custody at Crittenton Center Nov. 26th is MISSING A'Kiera is the only child of Iyonna Burrell . . . A 14yr old child is missing from a institution that contacts with the state courts. The case worker reported that it took 5 days to file her missing due to the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. This is outrageous this mother needs help, she needs the community support to help her locate her only child."

With only Fox4 picking up this story . . . There are serious questions about MWWS in play among the Kansas City media as community organizers attempt to draw more attention to this case.

  5. Well I've already forgotten her name. Does anyone remember her name? This could hamper things.

  6. It has nothing to do with her race and everything to do with her record, that's why we're not covering it. Jerk. We don't cover most runaways.

  7. It has to do with niggers! Anything and everything in Kansas City has to do with niggers and nigger-lovers.

  8. How in the hell do you not notice someone is missing for four days?

  9. You don't look.

  10. Why are we so sure she's a runaway? Has the state run facility turned over it's security footage of the perimeters of the building from the last day this girl was seen? All we know is that she's missing. We will not know why she's missing until someone decides to investigate.
