MORE DEETS ON KANSAS CITY TODDLER HIT BY GUNFIRE THIS CHRISTMAS!!!

Kansas City continues to struggle with armed violence and a youngster enduring gunfire this Christmas reveals the prevalence of armed thugs on local streets.

Fox4: "The child was standing in his family’s living room in their home on South Benton Ave., when the car drove by and fired at least a dozen shots. He was hit in the back of the head."

Again, the good news is not only that the child is on the road to recovery but also that the Kansas City murder rate is holding (for now) @ 105 compared with 109 last year.

You know, if that little kid had done his part to keep America free by packing heat at all times he never would have been shot. Buy more guns. Guns keep us safe!

  2. Dear Mr. Tony: Thanks for posting this info!! All of us must pray that the child recovers fully. Like everyone I hope that our city ends the year with some good news on the homicide front: We are now at 105--with two cases of people who died still underdetermined as to whether they count as homicides: This is the case of the young woman shot at a motel here in KCMO (her death was provisionally counted as a suicide) and the man wanted for questioning in her death who was killed in a shootout with police a week or so ago (his death, if it was at the hands of police bullets, would be a homicide--but if he killed himself it would not be so counted.) It will be interesting to see how the weekend shapes up, crime-wise, and also how the medical examiner classifies these two cases I mentioned. Take care!! Sincerely and Respectfully, Ernest Evans

  4. After spending millions on Aim4Peace, tens of millions on COMBAT, and hundreds of thousands on NoVa and other nonprofits, we have to HOPE that we won't match last year's homicides within the next few days?
How are the streetcar and the Republican Convention coming? That's where the real focus and command attention at 12th and Oak are.
