Kansas City Stocks Up On Salt For Old, Busted And Dangerous Winter Streets

Northeast News reports on not exactly "reform and repair" but close enough: "Kansas City is gearing up for another season of snow and already has 37,000 tons of salt stored in its salt facilities. Another 10,000 tons of salt will be delivered after Jan. 1."

  2. The city is moving back in time regarding snow plowing and street repair. Someone needs to be replaced with someone who gives a shit.

  4. Don't let this story fool you. All that salt was ordered to put on the streets to deal with all the water mains busting this winter and turning the area roads in to ice floes.

  5. Snow flakes are coming, the snow flakes are coming. Shut the hell up. Weather people in KC are the worst. The flakes are already here.
