Kansas City 2013 Winners According To The Newsie Elite Week In Review Crew!!!

KICK-ASS MODERATOR NICK HAINES
guides top Kansas City newsies through the year in Kansas City with a series of questions and quizzes . . .

Check the Week In Review - Kansas City 2013 Year In Review episode . . . As just about all the newsies are going on vacay

Lots of great insights and Kansas City's tragic ongoing 100+ murder count didn't really get much of a mention.

Still . . . Worth watching if only to see how deep JoCo views what they consider "Kansas City" in an always (strangely) pleasant conversation.

I find it great entertainment to watch and listen to the "views of the Golden Ghetto'ers. The thoughts of those who live in a make-believe world makes one just shake their head. Can these people be this "totally delusional"?

While Tony may see himself as a "media critic", your review of these ass clowns is "rejected" Tony. Much like your infatuation with that self-slapping, pole smoking, pedophile, Glazer. Again, reject ! #assclowns

Did they discuss the fact that Theresa Garza Ruiz became a grandmother this week when her whoring-daughter who can not figure out birth control produced a boy child?

Mom was like that too in the Navy but they convinced her to have a series of abortions.

Birth control is really not that difficult to use girls.

  4. Now I know why she isn't on TV anymore. Dana Wright turned into a fat bitch! And not the I'd still bang fat. No she's kind of fat and akward now.

  5. Dear Mr. Tony: Thanks for posting this info. The only person on the show who had the guts to mention the city's crime problems was Stacy Cameron--I give him a lot of credit for that. The rest of the panelists did not even want to hint at the crime issue. In fairness, I understand why the media acts this way. Dan Rather put it best when several years ago he said: "Fear haunts every news room in America." By that he meant fear of the PC Police of the liberals and the Patriotism Police of the conservatives. Running afoul of either of these polices can end your career overnight. So, journalists avoid talking about crime out of terror of the "r" word: "Racist." And, the losers are the people who cannot afford to leave the crime ravaged neighborhoods of our city and move to what you correctly call "The Golden Ghetto." Take care!! Sincerely and Respectfully, Ernest Evans

  10. That show doesn't really represent KCMO. It's a JoCo Show.

  11. Hey Walter, those "totally delusional" folks now outnumber you, and we get bigger every day as more families move out of the city to JoCo, Lees Summit, Blue Springs, and everything North.

We are actually in the majority now. I think you are the one who owns delusion.

  12. Why would Dr Tague use piggy Dana as a spokesperson? Dana is a chunk.

  13. Stacey Cameron is the only one of them I'd pay any attention to. Dana Wright and Steve Kraske - yuck. I usually don't mind Dave Helling but he's getting pretty pompous now too. Please don't let it rub off on you Stacey! Keep it real!

  14. KC's only hope is that the public television signal is so weak that none of these pompous "media elite" morons are seen by much of the surrounding country, or KC's reputation as a bush league cowtown will be even worse than it is now.
The great swirl of power brokers and D-List celebrities.

  15. Dear 8:17: I think that Dana, Steve and Dave are all bright, informed people--I just wish that they, like most of the rest of the nation's journalists, should start being journalists in the tradition of the late, great Edward R. Murrow. Mr. Murrow was not afraid to take on Joe McCarthy in 1954 despite the power of the Anti-Communism Thought Police. Dana, Steve and Dave: People remember Edward R. Murrow and honor him--no one remembers (much less honors) all of the journalists who were afraid to stand up to McCarthy. I have been repeatedly told that I am "betraying the troops" (By the Patriotism Police) and am "oppressing people of color" (By the PC Police)--I assure you that charges like that are not the end of the world. So, don't be afraid to speak the truth. Sincerely and Respectfully, Ernest Evans

  16. This group are given the so-called facts to report. No reporter can survive in the metro if they don't follow orders.
