KANSAS CITY INSIDERS ARE BUMMED OUT THAT MAYOR SLY JAMES IS UNMENTIONED IN THE OBITUARY FOR HIS SON ERIC CHRISTIAN JAMES!!!
More than a few of KICK-ASS TKC TIPSTERS sent word our way about the sitch.

While many in Kansas City remain disappointed that Mayor Sly hasn't said more about the passing of his son . . . Remember that it's the Mayor's prerogative to grieve any way he'd like or not publicly at all. Still, many locals who mourn Eric Christian James hope the Mayor acknowledges the saddening loss of life.

There was a time when fathers disowned their gay sons (or worse), but that time is passing. It is now for a 'real' father to stand beside his son in his fight for justice & against ignorance.
