Former Kansas City Star columnist Bill Tammeus was well liked during his tenure at our dead tree media institution now in decline.
Sadly, like so many others . . . He's no longer working at this town's last, largest daily newspaper.

"You must remove Robert W. Finn as bishop of the Kansas City-St. Joseph, Mo., diocese. His continued presence there mocks the good-faith efforts the church is making to respond to the crisis of priests sexually abusing children."
All things considered, it's a somewhat reasoned approach to the controversy . . . Still, starting off with a bold demand is something that wouldn't pass in the print world.
Accordingly, this Dead Tree Media dude and his call to action for the Pontiff might represent a battle betwixt two old school institutions struggling to remain relevant in a digital age that doesn't seem to have faith in much.
