We only mention this because it offers proof that Kansas City politics will drive a person to drink . . . And that's not just counting the local elected officials counted as regulars @ Cafe Trio.
To wit . . .
Check out a great new feature from our friends @ Feed Me KC:
"Meet Dan Ryan. Henceforth, he shall be known as The Zymurgist. Dan (er, The Zymurgist) drinks beer, makes beer, and as you’ll see below, has lots of opinions about beer."
Mr. Ryan was formerly a supporter of Mayor Funky but then, after primary defeat, a backer of Mayor Sly . . . His opinions on beer are far better and this is a feature that more than a few locals are looking forward to if only for a brief respite from bickering about the horrible taste that local government leaves in our mouths. #NoFishSticks.
What about his "I have sinned" moment concerning an affair on the Net? Beer Goggles?
ReplyDeleteThe Alcoholic Industry is doing well. Sales always go north during tough times and right now the marketing people urging everyone to drink their problems and insecurities away seems to be working.
ReplyDeleteI was drunk when I fell in love with Mark Funkhouser, and stayed drunk when I realized he won.
ReplyDeleteGreat comment!
ReplyDeleteI want the city council to address a problem in my neighborhood. We live in a liquor and beer desert.
