FIGHT AGAINST THE KANSAS CITY TOY TRAIN STREETCAR ALMOST FINISHED!!!
A valiant effort against the Kansas City Toy Train streetcar could be at its conclusion:
KC streetcar opponents hit another roadblock with appeals court ruling
KC Biz Journal: "The Missouri Court of Appeals has denied a motion to rehear a lawsuit challenging the legality of Kansas City’s Downtown Streetcar Transportation Development District."
Thankfully, this crusade has helped stall KCMO borrowing for a bit of "transit" that only covers about a 2.nothing mile brisk walk . . .
"So far, the case has presented a significant challenge to the $102 million streetcar project and prevented Kansas City from issuing construction bonds that would be used to finance building the 2.2-mile Main Street line from the River Market to Union Station."

And so . . . This crooked vote stealing by City Hall is right on track and ready to sink Kansas City further into debt for the sake of eco-devo disguised as transit and a rumor but not confirmed details regarding all the businesses that will be lured to the area . . . Here's hoping they bring back White Castle.
