Kansas City Pedestrian Fires Back
Human interest and a sign that violence in Kansas City has combined with cyclist/pedestrian "advocacy" to form a new, angry hybrid that doesn't really make sense . . .
Police: Pedestrian fatally shoots driver after being struck by vehicle
Report . . .
"This morning at about 3:30 AM, officers were dispatched to the 10800 block of Ewing on a reported shooting. When they arrived they found an adult male dead at the scene. Early reports indicate the driver of a vehicle may have struck a pedestrian with his car following an argument and the pedestrian then shot him. The pedestrian was taken to an area hospital and treated for his injuries. Homicide detectives are investigating."
I'm not sure if this counts as self-defense but it could be Kansas City homicide #81 this year compared to 76 murders at this point last year.
