KANSAS CITY EAST PATROL EMINENT DOMAIN QUESTION BACK IN COURT TODAY!!!
Kansas City controversy over the tactics used to establish the new East Patrol are going back to court this morning . . .
Check this recent statement from a tireless advocate of Kansas City property rights . . .
"Motion for New Trial has been set for hearing at the 16th Judicial Circuit Court of Jackson County at Kansas City, Division 1 on September 9, 2013, at 3pm . . . There is good reason to believe that the Court has unlawfully granted eminent domain power to the City of Kansas City, Missouri . . . Facts and supporting documents will support this position. The City of Kansas City, Missouri has made much of the work simple by admitting on the record pretty much every claim made which shows they violated private property rights and civil rights."
Meanwhile, City Hall has bungled East Patrol so badly that the project is MILLIONS over-budget and designs have been tragically reduced from initial expectations.
