A bold statement from Kansas City's top politico:
Cleaver: 'I'd vote no today on Syria'
Also a sign that Pres Obama can't find support from his own party and one of his biggest recent supporters.

ReplyDeleteA strife of interests masquerading as a contest of principles. The conduct of public affairs for private advantage.
.......but tomorrow I'll vote however I am told to vote.
ReplyDeleteHey, @10:02 on the links thread: did you finally scratch that ITCH?
ReplyDeleteTrying to position himself for the Obama hangover coming down the pike?
ReplyDeleteI agree with Congressman Cleaver's decision not to support military intervention in Syria. And, no the issue is not whether it is wrong to gas children--of course it is. The question is whether US military action will do anything to prevent such war crimes. On this question, the record is not good. Remember our intervention in Iraq to stop the brutality of Saddem Hussein? In August 2013 over 1000 people died in Iraq due to political violence. Let's honor Dr. King by remembering what he said about violence: "Violence never solves anything." Sincerely, Respectfully and In Christ, Ernest Evans
ReplyDeleteWhat if he was offered a fat chair in the Obummer white house?
ReplyDeleteIf that fucker cleaver doesn't want to bomb them then by all means, bomb Syria!
ReplyDeleteHonestly, who gives a rat's ass about Syria? It does not matter what we do over there; they are still going to hate us. Obama should have just kept his mouth shut. If he attacks Syria, he should give back his Nobel Peace Prize.
ReplyDeleteUnbelievablle, for the first time ever in my life I actually agree with the carwash Rev on something. Let the rest of the world worry about that godforsaken region. How about China stepping up? They want all the benefits of being a superpower but obviously none of the responsibilities. It's time the US worry only about the US and pull back into isolation until we fix our own problems.
ReplyDeleteI hope he continues to hold the stance of no war! Its time for the US to stop playing cop to the rest of the world when our people are suffering. It's time to stop spending money on warmongering and work on jobs, housing, healthcare and food for Americans. Not bombing destroying other countries and letting contractors get richer off US taxpayers while the.people in those countries hate us and join entities to hurt us.
ReplyDeleteYou lying, fucking nigger. You'd vote for whatever the spear-chucker-in-charge tells you to vote for. Dumb coon.
ReplyDeletePay your bills, Cleaver, you deadbeat!
ReplyDeleteLeaving the plantation for a change
ReplyDeleteThis might be the only thing I agree with Cleaver on. War in Syria is just unnecessary. America is suffering from Black crime and political crime. It's equal to spraying its citizens with chemical warfare. Let's fix the problems at home.
ReplyDeleteThe Real Harley
ReplyDeleteShut up and wash my car, Cleaver. You should see how the real upper crust like me live.
fuckum pull a harry truman and be done with it
ReplyDeleteSyria says: pay your loan back, you deadbeat Reverend!
ReplyDeleteFirst time Cleaver ever got anything right.
ReplyDeleteGiven that Iran has threatened to retaliate we should refocus and target Iran and we could kill five birds with one stone.
ReplyDelete1) Payback those mother fuckers for 30 years of shit including the hostage taking.
2) Kill their nuke program.
3) Cut off supply channels to Syria.
4) Eliminate funding for Palestinian terrorists.
5) Insure the straits remain unobstructed until we are good and done biting them in the arse.
