"A federal judge ruled Monday that Kansas City attorney James Wyrsch violated court rules by contacting jurors who convicted his client, the Associated Press reports. Wyrsch, president of Wyrsch Hobbs & Mirakian PC in Kansas City, was representing Sholom Rubashkin, a former kosher slaughterhouse manager in Iowa. Rubashkin was convicted on 86 counts of financial misconduct after conning a lender out of $27 million."
