The Google Fiber Rainbow Bunny is clearly moving to nicer digs . . . Check it:
Fiber’s coming to Mission Hills and Fairway
Money quote:
"We’re starting the week with a double dose of good news. Tonight, the City Councils in Mission Hills, Kan. and Fairway, Kan. just approved Google Fiber for their cities. We’ll start planning our network in these new cities ASAP and we’ll make another announcement once we’re ready to start customer signups."
Like it or not, Google Fiber seems to be following the same pattern as everybody else in this town . . . They started in the urban core but now have really found a foothold in some of the nicer local spots. More in a bit . . .
Let's welcome Google and the NSA to Mission Hills and Fairway!
ReplyDeleteHoorah!!
The only revolutionary act these days is to snip the cable and toss the electro crap out the door.

ReplyDeleteI thought the Internet was going to be the alternative to TV and all the lowest common denominator crap (and ads) it puts out?
ReplyDeleteWhen is Google/PRISM coming to Brookside?
ReplyDeleteBlack Helicopters have new "hush" technology; they are filming you. They did it in Iraq. Remember? Period.
ReplyDeleteGoogle can't even finish what it started in KCMO and KCK. You think that Google Fiber will get to your city in the next 10 years? Think again.
ReplyDeleteFollow the money Google.....
ReplyDeleteI think it is weird how the local governments and media promote Google Fiber, a private company, over other private companies. It doesn't seem right.
ReplyDeleteMomma had tits just like that.
ReplyDeleteThat doc on the history of film on TCM is MUCH too artsy and meditative for my taste... and that narrators ACCENT and lazy delivery is LAUGHABLE...

ReplyDeleteGod Bless Tony's Kansas City!!!
