TKC EXCLUSIVE AND BREAKING NEWS!!! TONI BONES REFLECTS ON COURT DRAMA AND PLANS HER NEXT MOVE!!!
Toni Bones remains committed to her anarchist and liberty-minded ideals but she might be keeping a lower profile in the near future.
To wit . . .
WE WERE LUCKY ENOUGH TO TALK WITH TONI BONES AND SHE OFFERED EXCLUSIVE INSIGHT INTO HER RECENT ADVENTURES!!!
Remember that Toni has just endured national media coverage for her Sugar Creek case regarding property rights and lawn work . . .
Raw Story: Missouri woman faces jail for recycling tires into flower planters
Now, Toni is finishing up her community service that involves a bit of Sugar Creek landscaping.
"I'm going to do 20 hours instead of the required 10," She said. "At the end of the day, I was really appreciative that law enforcement let me contribute in a way that was productive."
Outside of the courtroom on the day of her trial . . . Toni noticed blue tire flower planters similar to her own on the courthouse lawn.
"I wouldn't say that the police chief was supportive but very sympathetic to my plight as a single-mom. He suggested the landscaping work as my community service and it has worked out well."
Unfortunately, it hasn't all been good news for Toni . . .
Check a social media blast which accompanied some pix of recent property damage and a recent home break-in she has endured: "This is what I found before court. I'm horrified and brokenhearted. I need to remember evil people are a minority."
Also, a few online weirdos have given her a bit of flack regarding the outcome of her court drama.
The response from Toni is characteristically AWESOME . . .
"Haters gonna hate, statists gonna state, potaters gonna potate. If accepting community service in lieu of jail time makes me a cop apologist then I encourage you to show me how you approach extortion attempts. How many plea deals have you taken? Should I have laid out in front of a police car? Do people even want peace? I for one am happy I can do something productive vs missing my kids in jail. If that isn't dramatic enough for some then I encourage them to grow a pair, risk their own freedom and do something other than complain on the internet."
And so, Toni is moving forward and focusing her efforts on documenting and participating in Unschooling and peaceful parenting along with what we hear is going to an EPIC local anarchist/liberty bash David Hasselhoff on Acid and The Phantastics.
"I plan to lay low and go into 'recluse mode' for at least a little while," Toni says. "But I always say that and then something happens that inspires me to get back out there. We'll see."
Now, having experienced a courtroom drama and national media blitz to inform her advocacy in the future - Toni Bones is definitely a Kansas City area activist to watch and certainly a young, passionate and astute rising star of our local political scene.
