More than a few of you have sent complaints my way regarding the demise of dead tree media in a way more significant than just their biased reporting . . .

It has been bothering more than a few of you as of late who don't know how to USE A BETTER BROWSER AND ADJUST PRIVACY SETTINGS TO AVOID UNWANTED ADVERTS!!!
Anyhoo . . . A great many of you have been complaining this way but unfortunately TKC doesn't have ANY say in the matter and simply enjoys watching them chase away readers on the Internets.

Paywall, Smaywall. Who gives a crap?
ReplyDeleteIf you're too stupid to not be able to figure out how to access their site and read whatever you want without having to login, than maybe you shouldn't be on a computer in the first place.
It's so simple a caveman could do it.
Your talents would seem to lie elsewhere.
You don't need a better browser. You don't need to adjust any settings.

Btw, there are plenty of other local news sites who don't have a paywall.
The first time I have to pay for the Star online, THAT will be the last time.
ReplyDeleteAll browsers have an incognito function. Get Chrome. It's fast and you can pick what kind of window you want. If you still can't get through got to one of the TV station sites. Better yet, stick with Tony and Pitch and some of the other sites Tony links to. The information will be a hell of a lot more accurate.
