SELFISH D-BAGS JOGGING AND CYCLING SHUT DOWN KANSAS CITY STREETS AGAIN!!!

NBC Action News reports on Kansas City at a standstill in a way more important than politically: Race + Ride + Jog = KC road closures

Yeah, yeah . . . It's all for a good cause and not totally wasted on administrative costs tied up in satisfying the egos of people 'supporting' charity. Race away . . . Bring back donuts.

  1. These events have a charity name associated with them. They are in fact private businesses and there are some JoCo people making a darn good living from them.

  2. You whiners should all move out to Johnson County. You live in a CITY, there are events held in CITIES that may inconvenience you. Deal with it or move, I don't care, but quit bitching about it already.

WIIIILLLLBBBUUURRR!!!! LOOKIT WATAGOOD HORSE I AM! I COULDA JUS DONATED SOME HAY, BUT I WANT THE WHOLE CITY TO SEE HOW CHARITABLE I AM! FUCK JESUS' TEACHINGS IN MATTHEW CHAPTER 6!

  4. The people running in these races only do it for the t-shirt. Take these events to the Speedway!

  5. The headline should read, "Fat, Lazy fuckers sit on their couches and whine about a race closing streets."

  6. Just because people don't appreciate being trapped in their homes does not make them eiither fat or lazy. In fact, if they were fat, lazy and sitting on their couches, they wouldn't care, now would they?

It is possible to be fit and get exercise without inconveniencing others. Unless you're a sanctimonious narcissistic twit.

And 3:05, a lot of these events are new and were not taking place when many of us "old timers" moved to our 'hoods. It hardly seems reasonable for us to be the ones to leave, now does it?

A couple of these things a year are one thing, but constantly having them in the same part of town is just unreasonable.

That said, if you want to give to charity, just write a fucking check. That's what I do.

I suggest those of us who object to these marathons being held in our neighborhoods do two things: (1) boycott any business supporting the marathon and (2) NOT donate to the charities they support.

  7. Hyde Park and Longfellow are having their neighborhood garage sales Saturday. I'm sure they and their customers will just be champing at the bit to support the Martini Mile.

  8. I-35. Midnight. No police protection.

  9. 3:05 for the truth of the matter.

  10. 4:15 plus everyone in Brookside. My god how many races can they hold? It is getting ridiculous. I have an important commitment every Saturday morning that is almost always impacted by these multiple events.

  11. 4:15 and 5:10 are right. This unnecessary clogging of the streets is ridiculous. Go to the gym like other people.

  14. Well one cans see why KC such a shithole to live in. You fuckers think everything is about you and your nitwit simples lives. Let the people gather and enjoy themselves.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Let the people gather and enjoy themselves off the fucking streets. We have lots of parks in case you haven't noticed.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Boycott any business supporting the marathon. Do NOT donate to the charities they support.

    ReplyDelete
  17. @6:21 The only problem with that is that now the parks are full of people who want to rob/shoot/carjack you.
On the same topic where is TKC's rant about a fat, talentless "artist" who is promoting shutting down a public area so she can draw some shitty picture on the sidewalk?

  18. Just more downtown loftism. Why can't anyone join in and picket outside the downtown high-rises where the lofties live?

    ReplyDelete
  19. 4:15 Sounds like it's time to start looking at nursing homes in Overland Park. Whaaaaa. Bore.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I'll decide when it's time to look for a nursing home, 8:55. Now do us all a favor and go fuck yourself.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Sure thing, whiny bitch. Move to the burbs already where we don't have to listen to you bitch about living in a city.
