Quickly . . . Take a look at a bit of Missouri political give and take for Missouri Governor Jay Nixon.
First, Gov. Jay seems to be reclaiming his Democratic Party roots with this stand for Union interests:
Governor rejects that bill requiring public employee union to obtain an annual okay for union dues deductions.
Ironically, the Show-Me State "NO-VETO" GOP Majority might not have enough votes to override.
Still, this Missouri power broker isn't exactly a man of the people . . . At least when we're talking about people without private airplane access:
Missouri officials appear to lack justification for buying a new $5.6 million airplane frequently used by Gov. Jay Nixon, the state auditor said Tuesday.
The overriding theme here doesn't have much to do with the shrinking middle-class but might reveal that it's hard to change the funding mechanism of any powerful political concern in Missouri.
More in a bit . . .
When the mafia comes it doesn't matter if you're ridding a golf cart..
