GOODBYE KANSAS CITY BOARD OF TRADE



Computers and the Internets have killed yet another Kansas City institution.

Today is the shutdown and a reminder that the old ways of running Kansas City are disappearing.

I recall trying to get work there as a kid..start as a runner.. whatever.. but..like most entrenched unions.. firefighters... UAW..etc.. you "gotta know someone" to get on.
