TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! MARCH AGAINST MONSANTO KANSAS CITY WORKS TO PREVENT VIOLENCE!!!

The March Against Monsanto is a global protest that's gaining widespread support across the Internets and among a growing cadre of activists in Kansas City.

To briefly sum up the ruckus . . . Monsanto is one of the largest global agriculture corporations and everyone from anarchists to urban gardeners seems to believe that the company is using their influence inappropriately and pushing harmful (often genetically altered food) products on the world's populace.

Check the mission statement: Why Do We March?

As always, grassroots movements in Kansas City are exceptionally interesting . . .

To wit . . .

KICK-ASS TKC TIPSTERS RECENTLY SHARED A MESSAGE ABOUT THE MARCH AGAINST MONSANTO KANSAS CITY ORGANIZERS WORKING DILIGENTLY TO THWART VIOLENCE!!!

Here's a quote that puts all of move from MAMKC organizers in perspective . . .

"I wonder if this very long, very detailed statement against violence indicates that the organizers are expecting some sort of violence?"

Obviously, the nightmare scenario here is that an anarchist, grassroots march in Kansas City might turn into something like the infamous "Battle In Seattle" that first opened the public's eyes to the groundswell of frustration with political and corporate collusion.

And so . . .

RE: Possible Violence At Upcoming KC March

"We would like to remind everyone that MAM does not support violence or aggression towards property or people. Violence will only set us back.

Please be clear this movement is non-violent. We want the world to hear us. We must behave like adults not stoop to the level of violence.

Our Marches are family events. We will have children, elderly, and disabled people present. Violence of any kind will not be acceptable.

Please be warned that often times Monsanto themselves will send in their own plants to try and incite or instigate aggression. Do not be fooled. They are trying to destroy our unity.

With that said, Please do not bring violence or abusive comments to our March or to our Event pages. Your comments will be deleted and if it continues you will be banned.

We encourage all organizers of the individual events to share this message.

Please be warned if you are an instigator you will not be tolerated at our march and we our organizers will ask you to stop or leave. If you continue we ourselves will politely and calmly ask a Police officer to remove you.

We encourage all organizers to be open and talk with your local police and make clear to them that these events are family events and we will cooperate and work with them to remove anyone who incites aggression.

Please understand, we are not trying to be authoritarian but that we have a responsibility to create a peaceful event for our children, parents, grandparents and all attending.

Remember the world will be watching and we have an example to set. Violence would be seized upon by the media and Monsanto. They would use this as propaganda to discredit the movement and label us as eco-terrorists. This is not a joke we are standing up against one of the most powerful corporations that ever existed.

This is why we reiterate no violence of any kind will be tolerated. We know most of you know this but for the few who did not you do now. For the instigators you are not welcome and we stand firm united in NON-Violence.

While we will be speaking up against the politicians and the cooperation’s we will not condone any comments or threats of aggression towards them. We will expose their crimes and demand justice and change of policy. We do not by any means condone any type of vigilantism . Our mission is to raise awareness, expose, and legally stop Monsanto, and their cronies, crimes against humanity. We would like to see GMOs Labeled and/or banned until they can without a doubt be proven safe. This far we have seen the opposite. GMOs are not safe. Monsanto is an unethical unmoral corporation and they have been committing crimes against humanity for decades.

This event is a platform to bring us together in Unity. From here we can work together to create a powerful base of grass roots activism . We encourage all to network together and continue to work towards supporting ballot initiatives that are in place to label GMOs or Ban then and create initiatives that have not yet been created. Continue working together to expose politicians that serve Monsanto and promote politicians that stand with the people. We encourage all to create mailing lists and or FB groups where you can continue working together after the march and until we have reached our goals. You may want to bring an ipad and have everyone who is interest type in their emails so you have a ready digital email list to bring people together for future efforts. This event has created powerful momentum and its in our best interest to brainstorm Ideas on how we can keep the ball rolling."

Thank you....

  2. Monsanto is distributing cash on the east side. The skolars will make a show in force. Alonzo knows about this but they bought him off with $500.00 and a lifetime supply of genetically modified watermelon, chicken and grits.

I will be there in support of MAM and hoping that I might be able to hook up with Toni Bones. She should be ovulating and I've of some killer weed from my white rasta buddy Redlocks, who grows in Northern California.

  8. In Kansas City, a "march" means the involvement of NIGGERS and with that, you have violence. It's simple and very provable with this Monsanto thingie. Just watch...

    ReplyDelete
  9. Read up on Monsanto, they force US farmers to buy and use their seed, or they can't grow corn or soy beans, at all. If you think Monsanto is ok, you are ingnorant.

    ReplyDelete
  10. But what does Monsanto think of useless street cars?

  12. this is a statement from a delusional union asshole who thinks he can organize an street action while in reality the dude is a transphobic FBI snitch

    ReplyDelete
  13. Wow... I have never seen a non-violence statement like this. It's so aggressive it's almost violent itself. Are they going to go all middle-ages-mob-with-torches if someone breaks a window? Also, how do you find out where the violent demonstrations are? These things always say they are non-violent. Do you just look for ones that do not say they are non-violent? And furthermore, shut up n-word guy.

  14. OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Where are these peoples patents!?!?!?!?

    ReplyDelete
  15. They have probably submitted a patent on the grocery cart logo. It's likely in Washington D.C., with other patents.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Or copyright.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Lol - patents - that was my best typo ever! :)

  22. I remember those guys in high school who would stare at girls crotches like a doofus

    ReplyDelete
  23. Are we supposed to bring tents?

    ReplyDelete
  24. Patent is the correct word, Monsanto thinks they own the rights to all field corn and soy beans

    ReplyDelete
  25. high school sucked

  26. If you don't care that they buy politicians, have a Supreme Court Justice in their pocket (at least one), have the USDA under their control not to mention all the scary food and pesticides (me, I hate bugs) then stay asleep and let the pundits make fools of the people who are actually trying to wake you and the politicians who aren't all the way on the dark side up. OR you could show up May 25 10-3 and start to be part of the solution. Most of us know it takes more than a day and we have to build numbers. One day the people will wake up and then the corrupt CEOs, politicians and SCOTUS will hear us that Corporations are not People and Money is not Speech and big money should be out of politics. Until then Tony and the rest of you can keep making fun of us b/c we know that the work must be done.

  27. I agree with 1:24 but would like to offer this:
Last Sunday on Bill Moyers’ show on PBS he talked to activists. On the surface, these so called activists who want to save us have their hearts in the right but where they have their feet that worry me; in jackboots. Beneath this kind surface, the average activist is at heart a fascist. I find much of the language that activists use is corrosive in nature and they are the masters of passive aggression. I hear these activists say things like “people have to realize” and “we want them to . . .” and “they will have to eventually deal with us.” How does the Who song go? “The new boss/same as the old boss.” These people are as evil as the people they oppose. The activists consider themselves morally gifted and more enlightened than the rest of us. Like the people they oppose, they too know what is good for us. I agree Monsanto is evil and genetically modified food are probably poison for those who eat it and the environment but I do not trust activists given their track records when they win and when the assume power. Look at the federal agencies activist have create when they were successful like the EPA, FDA to name a couple.

1:24 you are correct, nothing will change until people wake up and I do not look to the activists to wake them up.

    ReplyDelete
  28. 1:45 I meant to say about their language it is coercive in nature and not corrosive.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Timothy Leary didn't have a good track record, Pol Pot, Carrot Top, Bono, Henry VIII, Louie XIV, Tom Morello and Jeffry Liebowski

  30. When do we match against John Joseph Rizzo family voter fraud?

    ReplyDelete
  31. Coming Soon to KC!! DGR (Deep Goth Resistance)

  32. Grow your own food. Monsanto fare is fake.

    Urban Gardening is KC's future.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Contact Occupy KC about marching against Rizzo. They might take it up.

    ReplyDelete
  34. This debate against genetically altered food is the final frontier of activism and shows that corporations want to control every aspect of our lives.

    ReplyDelete
  35. So Occupy just changed their name, not their rant....sigh.

    ReplyDelete
  36. So... if we can get rid of GMOs everyone will live happily ever after?

    ReplyDelete
  37. Occupy changed their name to what?

    ReplyDelete
  38. They should change it to Stop John Joseph Rizzo Voter Fraud

    ReplyDelete
  39. Occupy KC changed their name to Deep Goth Resistance.

  40. All of these E. Coli outbreaks from spinach and alfalfa sprouts, etc comes from organic farms, not GMOs. That's what you really have to look out for.

All the "evidence" against GMOs is basically akin to a chain email that has a picture of a navy seal dangling from a helicopter and narrowly escaping a great white shark. It's an internet prank.

If you're concerned about GMOs, go to Whole Foods, but if you force that onto the industry, companies like Monsanto will simply reduce their yield, jack up their prices, and the cost of produce will go through the roof FOR EVERYONE.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Hey elBryan, instead of letting Monsanto hold the world's food supply hostage like that, why don't we call them out, demand broader investigation into the safety of their products, quit appointing former Monsanto executives to high level FDA and USDA positions, etc.

What's all this, "If we make Monsanto mad, they'll make us pay higher prices!"??? How 'bout we just get rid of Monsanto and start holding corporations accountable?

    ReplyDelete
  42. Shut your piehole ElBryan until you find a pair that permits you to stand up and speak out against John Joseph Rizzo 's family voter fraud.

  43. Occupy KC is mislabeled

T, it is apparent this Rizzo lied to you. On October 10 2010 you said you were given an explanation that cleared up the residency issue of this aunt and uncle John Moretina. Here is what you wrote:

"The details of Royster's latest claims of "voter fraud" amount to nothing more than voter registration questions that ARE EASILY ANSWERED.

    Here's the thing . . . I've heard that answer."

    http://www.tonyskansascity.com/2010/10/will-roysters-campaign-tactics-have.html

So T, now that a guilty plea is made and apparently Mr. Rizzo provided you the explanation, what did he say?

    Loyal readers deserve to know.

    ReplyDelete
  45. ElBryan, does Monsanto have anything to prevent VOTER FRAUD from growing up in certain families? Weeds, like the RIZZO variety, can have deep roots, and spread into numerous governmental offices.

  46. Eating Monsanto Foods helps develop a 6th sense5/19/13, 11:15 PM

Barb Shelly and Tony B are the only people who know how Johnny Rizzo explained his Uncle, Aunt, and Cousin being illegally registered and illegally voting?

Tony, this is better than Willy Wonka's "Golden Ticket"!

You and Barb know the answer to Rizzo's "Voter Registration Misunderstanding", but Barb "ate crow"

    When will you?
