Kansas City offers a great deal of hype regarding the Internets and the constant blathering of entrepreneurs but that kind of thing rarely followed up with jobs.
Like it or not, the local economy seems decidedly old school and tied to combustion engines burning fossil fuels in the form of BIG-ASS trucks.

No, home sales and truck sales have no correlation what so ever. Somebody just trying to be hopeful about a lagging economy. If you recall, Obama said we were out of the recession. That's not true either. They just kicked everybody off unemployment to show a resurgence in employment numbers. It's a numbers game. The numbers concerning houses and trucks are unrelated.
