It is repressed deviants that want power over the weak, be they girls or boys (remember Ratigan?). The Catholic priesthood is a perfect breeding ground for these deviants, as it combines an all male membership with repressed sexual urges and a job description that often puts them in contact with children at Catholic schools. Do public school teachers abuse children as well? Yes, but not to the degree that it has happened with the Catholic church. And the reason the church is often singled out, is because of their active cover up of the abuse. The are guilty as fucking hell, from Finn on up.

Funny how a majority of alleged abuse victims don't come forward for decades, often after the accused is dead. Then comes the fat payout. Not saying abuse doesnt happen, just saying the burden of proof falls on the accused and often it is cheaper to pay on a dubious claim than a legal battle fought against radicals and a liberal media.
