TKC TIPSTERS CONFIRMED: FELONY FORGIVENESS COMING SOON KANSAS CITY
Important follow-up from NBC Action News regarding local hiring practices: "Kansas City councilman Jeramine Reed is about to introduce legislation that could make it easier for convicted felons to get a job with the city. If passed, it would eliminate the question on all city applications asking if you served time."
Remember that we had a pretty extensive discussion about this yesterday morning before anybody else in Kansas City.

Would you want someone like a code enforcement officer who has legal right to enter your property or business to have a conviction for Burglary or Wire Fraud?

a very slippery slope this would be. The city should not employ any felons there are enough thieves who work there that haven't been caught....some of those are elected!!
