TKC CONFIRMED!!! WORD OF THE KANSAS CITY PRICE GOUGING MARCH MADNESS PARKING CONSPIRACY SPREADS!!!

Kansas City parking wars are coming soon. Yesterday, AWESOME TKC TIPSTERS provided a bit of a preview on the preparation for price gouging within the loop for upcoming b-ball games.
Now, Mainstream Media picks up the Kansas City controversy as well . . .
Fox4: Rumors are circulating that parking for the Big XII Men’s Basketball Tournament could cost as much as $50. There were reports of hoops fans paying that much a year ago.
And so the question goes out to this blog community . . .
KANSAS CITY MARCH MADNESS PARKING PRICE GOUGING IS A FACT OF LIFE . . . DOES THIS CONTROVERSIAL BIZ PRACTICE BENEFIT DOWNTOWN OR DRIVE AWAY FUTURE BUSINESS?!?!
There are all kinds of economic theories to consider . . . The only thing that we know for certain is that a Downtown Toy Train Streecar isn't going to solve the problem.
DEVELOPING . . .

Actually, I think "park & ride" would help alleviate the problem. But the street car is taking money away from the ATA bus service.
At the MIAA tournament. 7 dollars to park.
Yeah, but nobody wants to go to the MIA tournament. Most people don't even know where it is.
Bwahahahaahahahaha!
KC is lucky there is any business to drive away.
So why are there fabs here? Think before you post next time.....
Bwahahahaahahahaha!!!!!

park and walk?
why not just walk?
WHERE IS THE $15K?????????????
WHERE IS THE "SEXTING SCANDAL" THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO STOP THE EARTH FROM SPINNING?
Park and Rob
Its probably cheaper than regular parking in 75% of American downtowns.
There is AMPLE/PLENTIFUL?RIDCULOUS parking in DT KC and its too goddamn cheap.
Keep pretending people want to come visit you subruban strip malls, you fucking lemmings. It'll make you feel better about the 250K you spent on your t-111 siding and waferboard McMansion.
Consider it an idiot tax on those who have their identities dependent on 19 year old "students" playing games.
All worth it though to be able to tell the coworkers at the insurance office "I was there."
the city should cover the parking meters during big events such as the big 12 & special events
Supply. Demand. Time to bone up on remedial economics Tony. Then maybe someday you get into Econ 101.
