It's an interesting T&I meeting this morning . . .
COUNCIL DUDE RUSS JOHNSON IS ON THE WAR PATH OVER A LACK OF PROGRESS ON A NEW KCPD NORTH PATROL IN PLATTE COUNTY!!!
There is an argument about a "city presence" at the current U.S. 169 site . . . But Councilman Johnson reminded the T&I committee that a new Platte County station was promised.
But basically . . . Kansas City's Northland (the largest growing part of the metro) is still in last place when it comes to more services.
Related . . . East Patrol seems to be on track with 99 percent of the homes up for demolition and 2 holdouts still fighting Kansas City in an EPIC eminent domain battle.
