Race to the bottom.

Has 0 to do with the earnings tax. Taxes are still higher in KS.

It is 100% due to corporate welfare and government subsidized sprawl.

JoCo is a kingdom of welfare queens. And it would not and will not exist without urban KCMO. No business wants to move to a suburb with no city. That's why they aren't moving to Salina, Topeka, Hutchinson or anywhere else in Kansas. The entire state is now totally dependent on a a city in Missouri.
