KSHB: KSHB: Members of a local atheist group say they're being unfairly excluded from this year's St. Patrick's Day parade, but parade organizers say they're simply protecting their patron saint's legacy.
Fox4: The Kansas City Atheist Coalition said in February they turned in an application to walk in Sunday’s St. Patrick’s day parade. When they were denied, they say they were shocked.
The sobering question . . .
GIVEN THAT SO MANY PARTY-GOERS IN THE VICINITY OF THE KANSAS CITY ST. PATRICK'S PARADE ARE MOSTLY DEDICATED PUBLIC INTOXICATION, FLASHING AND RANDOM HOOKUPS . . . WOULD ATHEISTS REALLY DAMAGE ST. PATRICK'S LEGACY?!?
I know, I know, it's supposed to be a family event on public streets but most adults realize it's really just a booze fest. In fact, watching chubby college coeds puke into an open sewer provides a teaching moment for youngsters and their career ambitions.
But I digress . . .
This lesson here is that Kansas City still isn't very inclusive and most of the cultural traditions in this town are propped up by a hypocritical pretense that has little to do with reality on local streets.

Here is my question. Do the organizers of this year's parade have the permit in perpetuity? Or could the atheists beat them to it in some future year?
All tax generated funding for the event should be lifted. That means no cops and no interrupting commerce by shutting down public streets.
If they can keep the atheists out, then they should be able to keep the NIGGERS out too. Fair is fair.
So how much "tax-generated funding" goes to this event?
And why on earth would the Atheists Coalition want to walk in this parade in the first place>
I have no problem excluding a group from another group's privately funded event. However, if there are tax dollars involved, be it for police protection, shutting down streets, etc., they should not have the right to exclude fellow tax payers. You want to be exclusionary, be it towards gays, atheists, or even racist pieces of shit like the N-word guy, come up with the private funding to cover the whole nut.
