KICK-ASS TKC TIPSTER: "ANN MURGUIA MIGHT WIN MAYORAL RACE AFTER ALL!!!"
The post title reeasoning is sound and relies on name recognition and the fact that Ann Murguia is a smart white lady with a good last name . . . Dead Tree Media Observation and article they took down for some reason . . . "Both the winner and loser of the race for mayor in Kansas City, Kan., will continue to serve, setting up the potential for division."

Is that her dad in the picture with her on her website?
The man on her campaign website photo is the father of her children and husband, Carlos Murguia (believe is a fed judge). Get the picture? Part of reason she feels empowered to threaten/bully those that publicly reveal the facts. My humble opinion only.
Just because Ann gets chit done, you attach her personally. Just drive down Metropolitan between 18 to 635. Look at all the nice sidewalks and road. Drive down 42nd street too. Look at the new Argentine Library.
Look at the new Dollar General Store.
She is supported by the unions in WYCO. She is a shoe-in.
SURPRISE!!!!
Latino blogger supporting Latino (by marriage) candidate.
Remember this when whites are supporting whites, blacks support blacks, women support women, etc. Everyone MUST self-identify into a race, sex, ethnic, and sexual pigeonhole for political purposes!!
You are FORBIDDEN from claiming status as an INDEPENDENT AMERICAN voter.
TKC could support Holland, but I doubt Holland wants a bunch of Sinners like TKC supporting him.
Holland is a massive Hypocrite. Let's review:
Pastor Mark Holland Concocted a Sweetheart Deal with KCK Non-Profit EOC, Directing $72K in Tax Dollars Directly into Fixing Up His Church
Holland the Tax Raiser: Voted to Increase Property Taxes 9% in the 2012 Budget, Voted to Increase Property Taxes 4.5% in the 2011 Budget, Voted to Increase PILOT Rate 2% in the 2009 Budget
Bad for Business: Voted Against Smoking Ban Amendments to Help Local Businesses
Holland Votes to Raise Taxes and then Give Hand Outs to Developers: This has Created Massive Debt in KCK. June 2011, the Unified Government Indebtedness Alone was $274 million, or About $1,741 for Every KCK Resident
Holland was Absent 25% of the Board of Commission Meetings in 2012
In 2007, Despite Citizen Concerns of Crime and Gangs, Commissioner Holland Concerned About Lack of Swimming Pools
Pastor Holland Says Gambling is OK, Similar to Alcohol Consumption, in that “…its okay in Moderation.” But, the United Methodist Church Opposes Gambling in Any Form and says: “Gambling is Bad Public Policy”
Pot Calling Kettle on Conflict of Interest? Holland Votes Agaisnt Denying a Preliminary Plan Review Application for City Vision (a Wyandotte Inc. Subsidiary). Holland’s wife, Julie Soloman, is ‘Chief Strategic Manager’ at Wyandot, Inc. She has Held That Position Since November 2010
The Holland’s take the Homestead Tax Credit? Is the Holland’s Total Household Income $30,800 or Less? Holland Earned $23,919.84 in 2011 as a Commissioner
Is this the Right Vision for KCK? Holland on ‘Up to Date w/ Steve Kraske’: “The next two most important strategic investments we need to make are downtown and in Indian Springs.”
So let's see, wrong priorities, no track record of results, never met a tax increase he didn't like, supports a smoking ban most WYCO resident oppose and would cripple casinos AND, he takes shots at Ann for being unethical? The same guy lying on his taxes to receive property tax relief from his own property tax increases while he funnels money from the Unified Government to his own church!!!
Let's not forget this little gem,
"Holland Voted to Cut Services, Increased Property Taxes 4.5% in the 2011 Budget
“Wyandotte County's Board of Commissioners has approved a 2011 budget that includes a 4.5 percent property tax rate increase and deep cuts to several programs.
The approval came after weeks of public discussion and, at times, anger from some commissioners who feared how the county's poorest residents would fare with fewer city services to depend on.
The cuts affect programs like Meals on Wheels, county extension, the local mental health agency, transit routes, drug and alcohol programs and services for people with developmental disabilities.
It is the first time commissioners have approved a property tax rate increase since 2002. Unified Government officials said that given the drop in assessed valuation, the average homeowner should not experience a tax increase on the county's portion of the tax bill.
Regardless, residents are likely to see budget cuts. Nearly every department's budget will experience a 20 percent cut in funding. Though some programs were spared, services will still be diminished given that the Unified Government cut those programs by 10 percent last year.
Commissioner Ann Brandau-Murguia cast the only vote against the budget Thursday, saying she wanted to avoid a property tax increase to help residents who are struggling because of the economy.
The cuts will help the Unified Government cope with a 14 percent drop in assessed valuations since 2009.”
[Wichita Eagle, The (KS), July 31, 2010]
Ann will win because she's the only candidate with integrity.
