This morning Kansas City sports fans and social media nimrods are abuzz over a Kansas City Chiefs helmet football design that's never going to happen.

Remember that not so long ago fans were tricked by fake designs.

The new Nike uniforms are actually much more bland and emphasize this town's long tradition . . . Mostly of losing valiantly.
