On the blog of OP PD Chief John Douglass he promises to "conduct these prostitution stings sporadically throughout the year to aggressively target" consenting adults who want conduct a transaction about as old as time and that's clearly popular in the suburbs as well. Here's the round-up: "The Overland Park Police Department conducted a Vice Sting on Wednesday, March 13th. The undercover operation resulted in the arrests of four prostituted women, one male for patronizing a prostitute, and another was charged with promoting prostitution. There was also one person charged with drug possession. This latest sting targeted men and women who use sites like backpage.com to arrange meetings at various hotels/motels."
