ReplyDeleteTony- what's the deal with hb50 takeover bill? The first hearing was today. Looks like amendments were added, and no one testified against it.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm no good at deciphering the wording of these bills, but splitting the district up and merging with surrounding districts looks to be an option. I'm not sure if that part of it was a part of the bill before.
ReplyDeleteIf it's between the safety of children and preserving history, we obviously sacrifice for the children, but it's an unfortunate situation brought about by carelessness of the district, and it's a shame that no one is able to step forward and restore this structure.
ReplyDeleteHopefully the architectural gems within will be preserved for people who have emotional ties to it.
