CLUB 700: THE WESTSIDE KANSAS CITY HIP-HOP CLUB A GREAT MANY IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD WANT SHUT DOWN!!!
I don't have a dog in this fight because I don't go to clubs and if I ever did, this place seems nice enough . . .
However . . . A quick look at this club footage reveals that it's the only hip-hop club on the Blvd that has been at the center of a muted controversy among neighbors. Last year there were a couple of shootings in the vicinity of the establishment and this crowd makes the crowd of hipsters across the street @ La Bodega clutch their purses.

Again, looks fun to me . . . And who doesn't like bottle service with sparklers and twerking?!?!
Still, this summer a club crackdown might be in order if a steady stream of neighborhood complaints keep up.

This place will close shortly just like all other black clubs do. But it won't be until somebody dies over something really important like a pair of shoes or a perceived disrespect. Just give it a little time.
It's racist to want to shut down a club becase of the shootings, murders and rapes that accompany them!

Its a good neighborhood for "Polar Bear" hunting.
On the same day the 5 people were shot at Twerk Fest, the Star ran photos of a large event at Club 700. Largely a crowd of young blacks.
And in the KCPD crime reports tor that day, there were absolutely zero reports of shootings, stabbings, aggravated assaults, rapes, robberies, or any other types of disturbances at or around Club 700.
One day, out of 365 and this NIGGER club is safe?? Not hardly. You go on down there, at say, 11:00 PM and if you happened to be white, your ass is had.....GUARANTEED.
There was a tragedy back east, in the sixties, where a NIGGER club blew up. The tragedy was, there was three empty seats.
I knew tony couldn't keep his bias out of a news story for long. Hipsters at La Bodega. So it must be their fault the club is closing. Even if its in a largely Hispanic populated part of town. But if something happens Tony needs to only look so far to put the blame on white people.

Not really a hipster, but I do like to eat a La Bodega. Hopefully there is never a shooting while I am there because there wont be no "purse grabbing" here if it comes my way. I don't shoot with one hand held sideways.
