B-Cycle Starts Kansas City Season Part Deux

What might be a Kansas City bicycle tradition . . .
B-cycle, is set to reopen for its second season on Friday. The program, created by BikeWalkKC and sponsored by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City, aims to offer an environmentally friendly and healthy transportation option. It includes 90 bicycles at 12 downtown docking stations, and the bikes are available seven days a week from 5 a.m. to midnight.
This year TKC promises to try one of these things and maybe even write a review . . . It's not that they don't look interesting and maybe even a bit practical. I'm just not comfortable with the concept of sharing.

Great! I think I'll rent one and bike to my job interview! Should be a lot of fun seeing rush hour from this new perspective!
Let's take an easy pedal down Troost.
Wouldn't Sly be a lot better off if he provided free bike sharing in the City and forget about wasting money on the stupid streetcar? Oh, I guess not. His friends, consultants, developers, construction companies, wouldn't be able to help themselves to taxpayer dollars.
Attention: B-Cycle
Most Kansas City residents, as most Americans, are overweight or obese, eat a poor diet, and do not regularly exercise. Unless you can position all your bikes on the top of hill, and let these tubs coast downhill, your business model may be in trouble!

1988 is over. Unless you join the real world and keep up, you might find yourself regurgitating dumb shit on internet blogs.
