It was an eventful evening for TKC on Kansas City's Eastside today . . .
At the forum I had the opportunity to take part in a "spirited" discussion regarding Kansas City's missing $15K. Basically, I was yelled at for quite a bit but still managed to pose some pretty decent questions.
Even better . . .
WE'RE GETTING CLOSER TO LOCATING KANSAS CITY'S MISSING $15K AND MIGHT EVEN HAVE AN INTERVIEW THAT WILL BE FAR MORE PRODUCTIVE THAN WHAT MAINSTREAM MEDIA HAS SHOWN THE PUBLIC SO FAR!!!
So, after the "discussion" we have more than a few leads that we're soon to follow-up . . .
BUT MAKE NO MISTAKE!!! THE QUESTION OF THE MISSING $15K IS STILL SPARKING RAGE ACROSS KANSAS CITY'S EAST SIDE!!!
Kansas City still has nothing to show for it's money . . . The event date has already passed, two different hosts have bee put forward and very little documentation of expenses has been shown to taxpayers.

ReplyDelete7:00 is right. Tony's right to focus on this. Michael Brooks helped Ossco Bolton and Ron Hunt swindle the City out of $15k. It was all a sham to put money in Ron Hunt's pocket and use Ossco as a delivery boy.

In my opinion, I can't stress how important this lousy 15k is.
The 15K is symbolic of our weakness as an electorate to control the people elected to public office.
Tony's pursuit of this felon, whomever it is, is, in my opinion, his transcendence (TKC's), into real time journalism.
Follow the story, report the story, report the facts.
This relentless pursuit of malfeasance, no matter how insignificant, represents a new egalitarian journalism that gives me fuckin hope.
