TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! ONGOING INVESTIGATION AND KEEPING TRACK OF KANSAS CITY'S MISSING $15K!!!

The pleasant image of Justene Jaro lying down with a bunch of money starts our Kansas City thinking this morning  . .

And so . . .

INSIDERS TELL US TO EXPECT A BIT OF A "CONCLUSION" TO THE ONGOING CONTROVERSY REGARDING KANSAS CITY'S $15K THIS WEEK!!!

Obviously, we hope there's a happy ending but we've been led astray before . . .

For instance . . .

LET'S NOT FORGET THIS TKC EXCLUSIVE FACT . . . THE EVENT THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO SUBSTITUTE FOR THE MISSING $15K FLOYD MAYWEATHER JR. APPEARANCE WAS SCHEDULED FOR THE WEEKEND BUT DIDN'T HAPPEN!!!

Documentation for that broken promise . . .

This flier:

To be fair, the latest promise pushes the date back to mid-Spring in Kansas City . . .

A quote from organizers:

"Despite these challenges, our event, , “Healthy and Drug Free Living”, will take place on April 5-6, 2013. This event will be hosted by boxing trainer and mentor Floyd Mayweather, Sr. and boxer Ladell Rose."

Accordingly . . .

TKC EXCLUSIVE COUNTING: That's TWICE now that the event didn't happen and a new promise was offered . . .

Nevertheless, we remain hopeful as Kansas City politicos enter into budget debates without much accountability for TAXPAYER MONEY that's already gone missing.

DEVELOPING . . .

  4. $15 million here and there missing no big deal 650 no one will ever notice.

  5. Don't worry about it. We can't name them because they need to protect their ability to make a good deal.

  6. No, not fifteen million, it's fifteen THOUSAND but hey, NIGGERS can't count anyway...

  7. Put a boxer (as in the canine type) in a training bra, walk it around the park a few times and call it good.

  8. Greeting citizens of Kansas City. We mean no harm. Efforts are underway to crack n' hack into Floyd Mayweather's bank account. Upon success, we shall return the $15,000 to the citizens of Kansas City. Of course as usual we expect nothing in return for this noble deed.

We are legion, we do not forget, and have plentiful supplies of soda pop and potato chips on hand to last us for eternity.

  12. This is a small amount of funds, but the issue is important because it's pissing off City Hall management that the matter will not go away. Usually, this crap happens with much larger amounts of money, but the financial systems obscure the trail of bogus expenditures, and the approval authorities are not questioned or challenged.

City Hall executives are supposed to be earning their salaries, in part, by watching out for those who pay their pay checks. NOT, dancing near the line of inappropriate fiscal expenditures.

The finance approval system requires three staff sign offs on these types of payments from those at high levels of the organization. While electeds can arm twist, public administration ethics necessitate that appointed officials do their jobs and not approve payment.

Joe Lunchbox can't begin to understand the money flow in City Hall. That's why a system of checks and balances are set up between staff and politicos. I have been in City Hall for a lot of years, but the culture that I see arising is largely based upon "us against them" with regard to the residents of the City. It's sad and misguided. I'm out in 11 months and it can't happen quickly enough.

    Please stay.

It sounds like we need ya.

  14. 7:53 is right on the money. Just look at Mayor Sly. He campained as a man of the people, committed to helping and improving the quality of life for the average citizen, resident and taxpayer through improved public safety, education, and city services (e.g. better streets, code enforcement, blight removal, etc.). Once elected, he quickly turned into an attention seeking water carrier for the insiders and the CoC crowd, with his time consumed by All-Star games, Toy Trains, and all that is Google. Now he has that affectation of all politicos, those who are always invited to the party, get the best table in the house, and whose every joke is laughed at. And he's completely dismissive when talking to the average people of this city about the problems they face, taking the whole "you don't understand how hard it is, how little money there is, how long it takes" approach to every situation presented. That's why you were elected, Sly. You said you would fix these problems, not play All-Star hype-meister and toy train conductor. So fix them.

  16. Fix the goddamned streets and schools, KCMO govt, and the citizens won't be "against you" any longer.

    ReplyDelete
  17. KC has never learned to watch their money and this is the end result.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Funk Wins.

  19. So Mayweather Sr. coming to town to support student excellence -- is he going to talk about his high school dropout son? Where was he when his son needed encouragement to stay in school?

    ReplyDelete
  20. So who has the 15K?

    ReplyDelete
  21. The $15,000 being "missing" or whatever you want to call it is just the last in long string of mis-management. First of all, why $15,000 to these people to bring in someone to KC to talk to kids? Someone who boxes for a living when we already have a problem with violence so we glorify it more? Second, why did Troy Schulte let Brooks go outside the regular process to get this money? Why was it so urgent? Maybe because these questions would get asked? Giant fail in the first place and even bigger FAIL that no one is calling them out on it now. Another instance of KC political bs - just sweep it under the carpet and let them get away with whatever they want. It's just petty bs anyway - right? Wonder how much all this petty bs antics add up to? Wonder what citizens who really care about this city could do with that kind of money? Disgusting!

  22. 7:53, well stated. The leadership vacuum makes my ears pop when I go into the building in the morning.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Light 'em up.
    Problem solved.

    ReplyDelete
  24. So Tony how much of that 15K came ot of your pocket...like $.00000000025?

    ReplyDelete
  25. Spike Lee just signed a deal with Disney to make a movie staring Dean Jones and Jamie Foxx and it will be called That Darn Nigger.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Brooks beat on Schulte for the $15k, saying Ossco needed it immediately to fly to meet Mayweather. Schulte is supposed to buck one if his bosses? Brooks is a mean and nasty SOB. If he were my boss, I wouldn't want to tell him "no".

People are asking the questions, and have been. Mobutu Brooks is a coward and won't talk. Brooks demanded money for this whole project. Brooks should speak up and help clarify things but he's a scared little bitch so he won't.
