Also . . . We've learned a lot during this cold spell . . . Mostly that homicides aren't necessarily tied to bad weather considering the uptick in local violence amid snow storms . . . But if, in fact, there is a weather connection and we're just getting started with what seems to be another violent year in the metro . . . The coming Spring promises to be horrible.

Did you see in Miami police enacted a 7 day a week curfew for their "urban youth?" That's exactly what needs to happen here. They obviously cannot act in a civilized manner. And by civilized manner I mean leave other people and their property the hell alone. But I know that is "axeing" to much of them. So bring on the curfews!!

The killer should have use a shotgun and fired right through a door. I mean, I got the way I am today (a brain-damaged idiot) by firing a 12 gauge Remington 870 loaded with #3 Buckshot at a solid steel door. It stung for a while, but I got all better after the swelling in my brain was relieved with that lobotomy thing, and I've been doing what my handlers tell me to for a lot of years. It's really fun!
