taking a clue from 60's civil rights activists, gun owners boycott them right out of business...

Drive them into bankruptcy if they want to deny you your 2nd amendment rights.
Fire every politician who does so as well.
Why would a business owner want to antagonize customers? Most people realize the sign is just a symbol and the owner is just saying he only welcomes liberals. It would be equally foolish for a conservative to antagonize a liberal, unless he owns a gun shop in which case it wouldn't matter.
