SHOCK!!! MISSOURI DEMOCRATS STRIKE BACK WITH BILL THAT WOULD MAKE ANTI-UNION LEGISLATION A FELONY!!!

Like it or not, the Missouri General Assembly is becoming more like a trash TV reality show than a respected legislative body.

The latest . . .

Missouri Dems want to make it a felony to restrict union power

"The legislation was sponsored by Rep. Jeff Roorda. According to the text of the bill, any legislator who proposes restrictions on collective bargaining will be subject to prosecution for a class D felony."

Text . . .

578.462. Any member of the general assembly who proposes a piece of legislation that further restricts the right of an individual to bargain collectively, as set forth under section 29, article I of the Missouri Constitution, shall be guilty of a class D felony.

It's not much of a comeback against Missouri GOP attempts to make filing an anti-gun bill a felony but it's an important indication that, once again, there won't be any serious effort to help spark job creation this session.

Of course, this is not going to make it into law. But what a sad statement as to the type of individuals being elected. Where is reasonable debate and the notion statesmanship. Gone.
